Looking forward to seeing you!

Below is the information from our last all-day scrapbook fundraiser on January 23rd 2010.  New information will be posted when plans are underway for the next event!

Please join us for a great day full of creativity, fellowship, and good food! This is a wonderful opportunity to catch up or get started on preserving your photos and precious memories, while supporting the Oak Arbor School. Past funds have been used for:

  • A new summer reading support program
  • Curriculum materials for Lucy Calkins "Units of Study" Writing Program
  • Instruction for teachers in above writing program
  • New Computers for the school
  • Garden materials for the school garden

This time, our earnings will be matched dollar for dollar, and put into the Oak Arbor School endowment. Thsi special fund will generate interest to support the school for years to come!

Thank you so much to all our past guests, vendors, and volunteers for your generous support. We look forward to seeing you again, as well some new faces, in 2011!

If you have any questions about this event, please contact the event coordinator, Liane de Chazal, by clicking here to send her an email. We're happy to hear from you!

General Details: Guests will feel pampered with a large open workspace in a bright and well-lit room. Door prizes are awarded hourly, and each guest will be greeted with a generous goodie bag. "Favorite Thing" moments will occur throughout the day, with small gifts and special offers from the multiple onsite vendors. We'll also have onsite massages and free makeovers! The big attraction is the raffle drawing, including many album-making supplies, plus other items to pamper yourself.

Registration: Registration begins about 2 months before the event. The cost to attend including meals is $40 per guest, or $45 postmarked after January 1st.

You can contact Liane to be added to the email list for next year's event.

Dining: Breakfast refreshments are provided, as well as a full lunch and dinner. The meals are served to you in a separate eating area to protect your workspace. Snacks and beverages are also provided throughout the day. Oak Arbor School students will be on hand to pleasantly "wait" tables for you.

Separate eating space is provided

Donations: Are you unable to join us, but would like to make a donation towards this event? Your support is most gratefully received, and will be put towards covering expenses of the event, thus contributing to our earnings! Click here to contact our donations coordinator.
