Thank you!

On behalf of the Oak Arbor School I would like to thank all the parents and friends of the school who came together in so many different ways to make our evening the success that it was. Just before the dinner Nathan asked everyone who volunteered in helping make the event happen to stand up and be recognized for their time and dedication. It was quite a crowd and testifies to the commitment that many people feel to our great school!
Combining the contributions raised during the event with the ones that came in from folks who donated but could not attend, we raised $11,500 for the school! These funds will be used to support the operation of the school for the coming year. This amount will pay for the texts, workbooks and basic classroom supplies that are needed to operate the school for the year, which will help reduce the school's reliance on the church for financial support.

Thank you all for coming and supporting the Oak Arbor School!
Sincerely,
Nathaniel

The Third Annual Oak Arbor School Benefit - March 8th, 2008

This event was once again a great success - a fun and entertaining evening featuring various auctions, a delicious dinner and excerpts from a classic light opera by Gilbert and Sullivan called The Mikado.  The School Benefit was started in 2006 by Nathaniel Brock.  We wish to thank Nathaniel and his army of volunteers for making this such a wonderful event, and we are already looking forward to 2009!

5th-8th grade students, all dressed in their Oak Arbor shirts, helped in various ways.

Mingling, socializing and looking over items.

Alene and Brett at the registration table.

A very distinguished gathering!

The Mikado meets the townspeople of Titipu.

"And they lived happily ever after."
