Steps for Admission

First, contact our secretary to schedule an appointment for a free, no obligation educational consultation. There are also numerous special activities you can attend throughout the year to get a hands-on understanding of the school's unique offerings and benefits.

  1. Parents or guardians visit the school, meet with appropriate staff members and have a conference with the Principal.
  2. Submit the Application Forms and fee to the Oak Arbor School.
  3. Your child will make a 1-2 day visit to his or her classroom. (The length of time will be determined by the age of the student.) During this time the staff will observe your child to determine appropriate placement.
  4. If deemed necessary by school staff, access to school records and/or the results of any prior testing may be required for further consideration.
  5. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, parents will hear the results of their enrollment application within one week of completing the admissions process.

The school does not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, color, gender, or national or ethnic origin.
