What makes Oak Arbor School unique and valuable?
A strong academic program emphasizing delight in learning provides the foundation for life-long education
We emphasize the importance of childhood innocence – why and how to value and nurture it, and how it is the basis for the on-going development of conscience
Education at Oak Arbor includes daily exposure to the spiritual dimension of life in various ways across the curriculum
We encourage social interaction that supports personal expression and builds self-confidence but without emphasis on competition, fashion, trends
Students experience a unique variety of useful, educational and fun opportunities for field trips, drama, community service, travel, etc.
We do these things in distinctive ways, based on a philosophy of education that is guided by our study of the Lord’s Word. What an honor it is to be part of this important work in a community of children, parents and teachers.

Each Spring our Middle School students (grades 7 & 8) take a big field trip that focuses on either the science or the social studies curriculum. This year they traveled to various destinations in Arizona to study earth science: the red rocks of Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon, the lava fields of Sunrise Crater, and the Grand Canyon. This was a huge educational experience. One former student remarked it was "like being in school 24/7". Thanks to generous donations that make these trips possible. And thanks to our teachers and chaperones for making these special adventures so educational.
1st & 2nd Grade Plays
Date: Fri., May 14 @ 7pm
The students of grades 1 and 2 performed two delightful short plays on Friday night, May 14 in the Oak Arbor Social Hall. This was another delightful dramatic production enjoyed by a responsive audience of all ages. The school wing was also open for tours beforehand and afterwards.
