Oak Arbor School is sponsored by the Oak Arbor Church, a family-oriented congregation which has been in Oakland County since 1940. The local church is a member of the New Church, a world-wide Christian organization established in 1770. Central offices are in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. Oak Arbor School is also a member of the General Church Schools Consortium, also headquartered in Bryn Athyn, PA. |
Enrollment Policy |
Parents of enrolled students do not need to be members of the sponsoring church. Parents must be knowledgeable of the theological perspective and educational philosophy and must be affirmative to their child(ren) being taught from these points of views. See Admissions Process |
Facilities |
Our current building was completed and occupied in September 2000 with 5 multi-grade classrooms for Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade. It shares space with the Oak Arbor Church, its sponsoring organization. |
