Ten Reasons I Love Working Here

OK, so I like to promote Oak Arbor School! Can you blame me? I have a lot of good reasons. Here are ten of my favorites.

  1. We are dedicated
We work hard for a noble cause – the educational development of every child is a vital contribution to the world.
  2. We are faith-based
The Bible and Christian principles are integrated into daily school life to give more meaning and purpose to education.
  3. We are well-rounded
We help students thrive by feeding their minds, touching their hearts and preparing them for life.
  4. We are nurturing
We value, protect and encourage each child as a gift from the Lord and uphold childhood innocence as a foundation for the development of adult conscience.
  5. We are family-oriented
We pride ourselves on knowing each family personally. All family members are welcome and expected to be involved.
  6. We are community-oriented
Our field trips take students into the community for service projects, and our programs incorporate community members into our campus life.
  7. We are small
Every child gets to feel significant and honored for her/his unique personality and contribution.
  8. We are connected
We are intentional about developing a sense of belonging in each classroom and as a whole school, including the parent group.
  9. We are optimistic
Our students are getting the well-rounded education they need to become the next generation of self-confident, upstanding citizens to bring positive change to the world.
  10. We are generous
Members of the church and other donors provide substantial financial support in order to make the tuition affordable. We want as many people as possible to benefit from our distinctive education.
